The Raleigh County Solid Waste Authority is committed to improving your local environment by providing a legal and environmentally friendly way to dispose of unwanted items, trash, demolition, and construction waste. Our state-of-the-art facility provides Raleigh County residents and the surrounding communities a manner in which to dispose of their waste in a safe and eco-friendly way.

Our Recycling Center provides a controlled environment to process recyclables - plastics, paper products, various aluminum and batteries. For more information on our recycling capabilities, view our recycling information page.

Effective November 1, 2015
RCSWA will still be accepting residential E-Waste.  Commercial E-waste will no longer be accepted at RCSWA.  Please visit www.state.wv.us/swmb/ewaste for more information regarding E-Waste for commercial haulers.

As of January 1, 2011, Televisions, Laptops, and Monitors are banned from being disposed of in the landfill.  We do have a designated area for all E-waste recycling products.  For more information, please visit our E-WASTE page.
