Donations
We gladly accept donations directly at the Mercantile during open hours. Donations are still accepted on days the Mercantile is closed, at the designated Donation Area accessible through the landfill scales.
Please note: donations may be denied at staff’s discretion.

Donations We Do Not Accept
- Child car seats
- Clothing or shoes with a mildew odor or stains
- Damaged or stained upholstery
- Mattresses or box springs
- Paperback books
- Broken appliances
- Pianos or organs
- Broken or sharp glass
- Any products considered unsafe
Store Policies
- All items and donations must be checked, priced and placed out for sale before customers can purchase.
- All purchased items must be removed before closing. No holds.
- Donated items must be good, resalable items. No trash.
- Customers are not allowed to mark items sold.
- Customers are not allowed to shop in the donation holding areas. Customers found shopping donation holding areas will be asked by staff and management to leave the store for that day. No exceptions.
- RCSWA staff are not responsible for loading and unloading items.
- RCSWA staff encourage each customer to shop and make purchases in a timely manner, without loitering or gathering in the store or around our staff.
The Last Chance Mercantile reserves the right to refuse service to customers to ensure safety, maintain order, or protect staff.
