Last year the grand total recycled by 34 Raleigh County Schools was 270.6 tons with cumulative earnings of $7,748.71. (See attached earnings graph)
All earnings made possible by contributions from the Corporate Green Team comprised of: Beckley Loan Company, Oak Hill Garbage, Whitesville State Bank, Access Health, Lee Supply, Appalachian ARH, City of Beckley, Carter Family Foundation, Beckley Garbage, First Community Bank, Raleigh General Hospital and Lusk Disposal Service.

For the 10th consecutive year, Trap Hill Middle School is the Raleigh County School Recycling Champion for the 2019-2020 School Year! They recycled 45,580 pounds of paper/cardboard, earning a recycling grade of 100%!
By being named the Recycling Champions, they’ll receive a check for $2,461.00, which includes the
Corporate Green Team Bonus of $2,000.00!
Additionally, Trap Hill Middle School will retain the traveling ‘Stanley Cup of Recycling’ which is awarded to the Champion. This 12” tall lead crystal trophy filled with hundreds of marbles and will remain on display at Trap Hill Middle, until a new Champion is named next school year!
